Job Description:
We are seeking a Demolition GROUND BURNER to join our project team at our Dales Voe Decommissioning Facility on Shetland. Reporting to the Site Manager it provides the successful applicant the opportunity work in a dynamic, vibrant, challenging work environment.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the on-site team.
Job Overview:
- Dismantle and demolish bulk storage units and steel work
- Remove structures and materials in accordance with safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with CSCS standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute demolition plans effectively.
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain demolition equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct site assessments to identify hazards and prepare for demolition tasks.
Skills
- Hold a valid CCDO Demolition Operatives / Labourers Card
- Previous experience in the use of oxy/propane cutting equipment / burning scrap metal
- Working at height experience would be advantageous
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and eligible to work in the UK
- Proven track record of working within a team environment
