Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations using practice management software
- Answer phone calls promptly and assist with patient enquiries
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary
- Process payments and organise billing procedures
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and inventory management
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-organised
Qualifications
- Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using office software and practice management systems
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology or previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not essential
