Key Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a range of hot and cold beverages
- Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service throughout their visit
- Operate various equipment including blenders and other machinery to prepare drinks
- Keep the workspace tidy and organized
- Follow standardized recipes to maintain beverage quality and consistency
- Manage cash transactions and operate the register accurately
- Assist with kitchen preparation tasks as needed
- Enforce company policies to ensure smooth and consistent operations
- Maintain hygiene standards to create a safe environment for both staff and customers
- Comply with food safety guidelines and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work atmosphere
- Stay composed and efficient during busy periods to maintain service excellence
- Ensure careful packaging and presentation of orders to enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous barista or similar experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Strong time management skills to meet order deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to details
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and colleagues
