Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team in a new coffee shop in Chiswick. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high quality coffee. The Barista role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages and ensuring the smooth operation of daily café activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks ensuring consistency and quality
- Serve customers promptly with a friendly and professional attitude
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic baking or snack assembly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation and service processes
Requirements
- One years barista experience preferred
- Confident with latte art and speciality coffee
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards in a hospitality setting
- A genuine passion for great coffee and friendly hospitality
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
