Quantum Scholars are currently working closely with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Southampton, who are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a permanent basis.

The school hiring are a mixed secondary school rated “Good” by Ofsted. It is easily accessible via car and public transport.
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities within the English department.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
- Must be available to start in January 2026.
