Agora is looking for an additional warehouse operative and driver to join our busy and rapidly growing team in Glasgow! We are looking for an individual who preferably has previous experience in warehouse environment and picking & packing position as well as helping with our daily routes when needed. Working from our premises in G69 Baillieston Industrial Estate Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Orders' fulfilment, for retail and wholesale clients
-Packing orders carefully and to a high standard
- Handling a range of products including chilled, frozen, drinks, beers, alcohol, dried goods and tins
- Warehouse duties include assistance in loading / unloading and packing / unpacking of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Provide assistance on wholesales orders' loading and delivery
- Reporting in stock count
-Expected to be flexible and available for work during peak seasons, Christmas / New Year and Easter.
-Working efficiently as part of a busy warehouse and distribution team
-Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
-Following all company health & safety, food safety and manual handling procedures
- Covering in the drivers position when is needed or busy, driving the company’s vehicle in routes across Scotland, North England and Midlands, require at times an earlier start.
Skills required:
-Prior experience in parcels' packing is preferable
- Prior experience in warehouse environment is preferable
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Team player
-Professional manner when dealing with partners and clients
-No professional driver’s license required, but previous experience in driving and deliveries will be an advantage
