About Us
Café Deli Wholesale Ltd is a growing food wholesale business supplying quality products to cafés, restaurants, and hospitality customers. We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous accounts or finance administration experience who is looking to build their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter purchase invoices and sales invoices into the accounting system.
- Match invoices to delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and maintaining financial records.
- Help reconcile supplier statements.
- Support the finance team with bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with customer and supplier account queries.
- Prepare paperwork and reports as required.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the finance department.
About You
- Some previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and financial records.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Xero would be an advantage.
- Well organised, reliable, and able to manage your workload effectively.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Eager to learn and develop your accounting knowledge.
