Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to high standards
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all areas are left in a presentable condition at the end of each shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
