Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Front of House to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases.
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as required to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential; and training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment is desirable.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills.
- A friendly attitude with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
