Key Objectives
Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around serving colleagues and assisting in the preparation, heating and storing of food. You will monitor stock and ensure the kitchen and canteen area are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serving colleagues in a polite and friendly manner
- Assist in the hygienic and economic preparation, heating, storing and serving of food
- Ensuring ingredients and allergens are clearly detailed and labelled
- Checking stock levels and ensuring equipment is safe, clean and maintained
- Ensuring kitchen, service area and canteen are kept clean, tidy and safe including washing up and general cleaning of the kitchen
- Process payments for meals
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations in the kitchen and other catering areas
- Any other duties deemed necessary by the Chef Manager
- Must be able to step up and cover the Chef Manager annual leave as and when required
Personal Attributes
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Up to date and current food hygiene certificate
- Excellent people skills and communication
- Passionate about delivering fantastic customer service
- Able to work as part of a team with a positive can do attitude
