DropShot Coffee is an independent specialty coffee company with a passion for exceptional coffee, outstanding customer service and creating welcoming community spaces. As we prepare to open our brand-new Epsom store, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Manager to lead the team from day one.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new store, build a strong team and play a key role in the continued growth of DropShot Coffee.
The Role
As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring consistently high standards across coffee quality, customer experience, team performance and financial results.
You’ll lead by example, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
What We’re Looking For
* Has previous experience managing a café or coffee shop.
* Has strong barista experience and can confidently produce high-quality specialty coffee.
*Experience dialling in grinders, and producing consistent latte art even when under pressure
* Has experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
* Lives locally to Epsom or the surrounding area.
* Is organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.
* Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Takes ownership and enjoys building a successful team culture.
* Is passionate about hospitality and delivering consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operation of the coffee shop.
* Lead, train and develop the team.
* Deliver consistently excellent coffee and customer service.
* Manage staffing levels and rotas.
* Recruit and onboard new team members.
* Monitor stock levels and place orders.
* Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards.
* Ensure the café is clean, well-presented and operating efficiently.
* Handle customer feedback professionally.
* Drive sales and help achieve business targets.
* Work closely with the owners to help establish the new store as the go-to specialty coffee destination in Epsom.
