Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product/Assembly Technician to join our innovative team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling metal dampers, along with preparing and packing finished products ready for dispatch. Responsibilities
- Assembling metal dampers and associated components.
- Calibrating and testing of product components according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify potential issues or defects in products.
- Document testing results, maintenance activities, and any anomalies accurately in our tracking systems.
- Follow assembly drawings and instructions.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operational activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on product performance and testing procedures.
- Checking completed products to ensure they meet the required standard
- Packing finished goods into pallets or parcels ready for dispatch
- Loading and preparing goods for collection
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed on time
Qualifications
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and documentation standards.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with colleagues.
- Prior experience or coursework related to product assembly, engineering, or technical fields is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
