Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product/Assembly Technician to join our innovative team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling metal dampers, along with preparing and packing finished products ready for dispatch. You will work as part of a small team supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of our products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities
- Assembling metal dampers and associated components.
- Calibrating and testing of product components according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify potential issues or defects in products.
- Document testing results, maintenance activities, and any anomalies accurately in our tracking systems.
- Follow assembly drawings and instructions.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operational activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on product performance and testing procedures.
- Checking completed products to ensure they meet the required standard
- Packing finished goods into pallets or parcels ready for dispatch
- Loading and preparing goods for collection
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed on time
Qualifications
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and documentation standards.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with colleagues.
- Prior experience or coursework related to product assembly, engineering, or technical fields is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
