Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in locating products and offer knowledgeable advice on merchandise
- Upsell products and promotions to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring proper phone etiquette during customer interactions
- Manage stock levels, organise stockroom areas, and assist with inventory checks
- Support organisational tasks such as scheduling deliveries or coordinating with suppliers
- Handle customer queries efficiently, demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Organised with strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Experience in retail, merchandising, or sales is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
