About the Role
Rock Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Making Good Operatives / Multi-Trade Operatives to support an established contractor working across London and the surrounding areas.
The work will involve completing making good works following installation and maintenance projects, with a strong pipeline of work available.
The client has indicated there is potential for at least 2 jobs per day, offering consistent earning opportunities for reliable and experienced tradespeople.
The Work
Typical works may include:
- Making good walls, ceilings and areas following installation works
- Plastering and patching
- Filling, repairing and preparing surfaces
- Minor decorating and finishing works
- General remedial and snagging works
- Leaving properties clean, tidy and ready for handover
What We're Looking For
We are looking for experienced tradespeople with a background in making good and boxing-in works following retrofit installations, particularly:
- Boxing in pipework, cables and services following ASHP installations
- Boxing in and making good around Solar PV installations
- Making good walls, ceilings and finishes following retrofit works
- Plastering, patching and repairing areas affected by installation works
- Basic carpentry and construction work required for boxing-in
- General remedial and finishing works
- Experience working in occupied residential properties
You will need to be reliable, professional and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements
- Previous experience in making good, remedial or multi-trade works
- Own tools and transport
- Good standard of workmanship
- Professional approach when working in customers' homes
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant qualifications/certificates advantageous but not essential
