Job Overview
We're hiring an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team straight away. You'll be out on a mix of commercial and residential sites every day. Completing the following:
- Grass cutting, strimming, and edging
- Hedge trimming and topiary
- Planting, bed maintenance, and seasonal colour
- Weed control and general site tidying
- General grounds upkeep across contracted sites.
- Large hedge cutting jobs using Henchman's
We work mainly with battery-powered handheld kit, switching to petrol equipment when ground or weather conditions call for it.

Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, weeding, bulb planting and watering in summer months.
- Operate various power tools such as hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, blowers, and edgers efficiently and safely
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and general grounds upkeep with precision and care
- Installation of irrigation pipes, timers, drip systems etc.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds/gardens to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- You will also be required to help on landscaping jobs we complete on an Adcock basis with clients. (Should you not have experience thats absolutely fine)
Qualifications required
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture roles essential
- Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and groundskeeping tasks.
- Strong understanding of Plant names and pruning times.
- PA1 & PA6 qualifications a must.
- Full clean drivers license.
- Hedge trimming and brush cutting qualification a must.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
