Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining food safety standards at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest services skills to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of food and beverages
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing and transactions accurately
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
