Godfrey Group Facilities Ltd are looking for a reliable and responsible Part-Time Cleaner to join our team, cleaning a doctors surgery in Denbigh.
This is an important role within a healthcare environment, ensuring the surgery is clean, hygienic and ready for staff and patients when the building opens.
The Role
The successful candidate will work Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00am to 8:00am.
You will be a key holder, responsible for opening the surgery each morning and carrying out the cleaning duties.
As the surgery contains clinical equipment, medication and other sensitive areas, the successful applicant must be trustworthy, responsible and comfortable working independently. A DBS check will be required for this position.
Cleaning Duties
Cleaning duties will include:
- Cleaning consulting and examination rooms
- Cleaning treatment and clinical areas
- Cleaning reception and waiting areas
- Cleaning staff offices and communal areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Cleaning corridors, floors and stairways
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Cleaning high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches
- Replenishing consumables where required
- Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Reporting any maintenance, damage or issues identified during the clean
Full training will be provided on the site, cleaning requirements and relevant procedures.
About You

- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Able to follow cleaning procedures and instructions
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Due to the nature of the premises, a DBS check will be required for this position.
