Role Overview
Wireman - to support the engineering department by fabricating and testing cables, cable looms and electrical cabinets for development systems. Will also be responsible for fabricating and testing test rigs and service tools, and feeding back errors and improvements to the engineers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to understand the wiring requirements for new prototypes.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams to plan wiring layouts effectively.

Perform wiring installations, connections, and terminations according to specifications and safety standards.

Responsible for fabricating and testing cable assemblies, electrical cabinets.

Responsible for fabricating and testing test rigs and service tools.

Marking up drawings for revision.

Troubleshooting wiring issues and performing necessary repairs.

Qualifications
- Must have good practical experience including crimp termination, soldering.

Close attention to detail is a prerequisite.

Experience in the field of cable assembly is required, preferably with experience of making cable looms and harnesses.
