East grinstead windows LTD is a well-established double glazing window company . We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and hardworking Trainee Window Fitter to join our experienced team.
The Role
Prior experience is advantageous but not essential —we will provide hands-on training alongside our senior fitters. You will learn all aspects of installing uPVC, aluminium, and timber windows, doors, conservatories, and glazed units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior window fitters on residential and commercial job sites.
- Help load, unload, and safely transport glass, frames, and materials.
- Remove old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
- Prepare openings, apply sealants, and assist with finishing work (trims, silicone, and plastering).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Provide polite and professional service to customers in their homes.
- work comfortably and professionally with a range of different teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliability & Punctuality: A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Hands-on Attitude: Comfortable working with tools and at heights/outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy frames and glass units safely.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving License preferred (or actively working towards one).
- Communication: Good team player with strong communication skills.
Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
