The Role
You will manage operational services to support the Property & Support Services Division. You will also provide management and leadership to administrative staff and contribute to the implementation of strategy. You will have specific responsibility for the management of Business Support function within Hotel Services at UHM & Kirklands.
In this key role, you will:

Provide leadership and effective Operational Management of the administration services ensuring appropriate support to the delivery of Business Support functions.

Manage, motivate, counsel (where necessary) all administrative staff in order to deliver and maintain the effective running of the service ensuring compliance with the Human Resources policies and procedures.

Responsible for the Recruitment and Retention of Administration staff including preparing advert, short-listing and interviewing candidates.

Manage and participate in the establishment and control of budgets relating to Administration staff, supplies and equipment purchase consistent with the financial governance requirements of NHS Lanarkshire.
What You'll Bring:
-
A relevant administrative qualification at Degree level or equivalent with previous experience working for a senior manager within a complex organisation.

Relevant operational and staff management experience
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages combined with structured office management skills, including a developed knowledge of business report writing skills.

Excellent/Advanced IT Skills
-
A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
