Job Overview
We are seeking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our team on a part time basis.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including washing utensils and cleaning surfaces regularly.
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalised recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours. Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
