We are seeking dedicated, compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school community. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to access learning and achieve individual targets.
- Work closely with class teachers, the SEND team and external professionals to implement personalised support strategies.
- Assist pupils with social, emotional and behavioural development, helping them build confidence, resilience and independence.
- Use positive behaviour support techniques to encourage engagement and successful learning outcomes.
- Support pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Has experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs.
- Is patient, empathetic and able to build strong, trusting relationships.
- Experience working with primary aged pupils, ideally in a school setting.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can remain calm, adaptable and positive in challenging situations.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children to thrive both academically and emotionally.
