We are looking for a skilled and experienced Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture upholstery and be capable of producing high-quality work across a wide range of furniture and soft furnishings. Key Responsibilities
- Upholstering a variety of furniture, including:
- Chairs
- Office Furniture
- Sofas
- Banquette seating
- Loose cushions and furnishings
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting fabrics to a high standard
- Reupholstering and restoring furniture as required
- Ensuring all work meets company quality standards
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working onsite
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other departments Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an upholstery and furniture manufacturing or restoration environment
- Proven ability to upholster a wide range of furniture types
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable Skills
- Basic sewing skills but not essential
