Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Supervisor
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (12-hour rotating shifts – days and nights)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fork Lift Truck Supervisor to lead a small team of FLT drivers within a busy manufacturing environment. This hands-on role combines low-level supervisory responsibilities with the safe and efficient operation of an FLT.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in accordance with company procedures and H&S standards.
· Supervise and support a team of 2–3 FLT Drivers.
· Load and unload vehicles efficiently and accurately.
· Transport work-in-progress (WIP) materials throughout the production facility.
· Ensure warehouse and production areas are kept clean, safe, and well organised.
· Liaise with external carriers and drivers when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· A current Counterbalance FLT licence (preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate).
· Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous).
· A full UK Driving Licence.
· Basic PC literacy skills (desirable).
· Good communication and organisational skills.
· A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
