We are seeking an inspirational, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our brand-new Montessori Forest School, opening in September 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing, child-centred environment where children thrive through Montessori principles, outdoor learning, and meaningful relationships. We are looking for a leader who leads by example, inspires their team, and is committed to delivering outstanding early years education and care.
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring a team of early years professionals.
- Creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Ensuring the nursery consistently meets all safeguarding, welfare, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting, coaching, and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Driving high standards of care, education, and continuous improvement.
- Helping establish a strong, positive culture as we open our brand-new setting.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience managing or deputising within a nursery.
- Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum; Level 5 or above desirable).
- Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Is passionate about Montessori education and outdoor learning (experience is desirable but not essential).
- Is an inspiring leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and positive workplace.
- Leads with warmth, professionalism, and integrity.
