Nursery Manager
Location: Broomhill
Salary: £34,000–£40,000 per year + 7.5% bonus opportunity
Hours: Full-time, over 4 or 5 days

The Role:
As our Nursery Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating an exceptional nursery environment where children receive outstanding care, education and experiences, while supporting your team to reach their full potential.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and inspire your nursery team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
- Use your creativity and ideas to shape the nursery environment and create exciting experiences for children.
- Support and develop practitioners through training, coaching and shared learning.
- Ensure the nursery meets EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, health & safety and other regulatory requirements.
- Build strong and positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the wider community.
- Support the financial management of the nursery, including budgets and resources.
- Champion sustainability and encourage environmentally responsible practices across the nursery.
- Create an inclusive environment where every child and family is valued, supported and celebrated.
- Take ownership of the nursery’s development and help shape the future of Nurtured Childcare.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who brings inspirational leadership, emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for creating outstanding early years experiences.
Essential
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and early years best practice.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Understanding of health & safety requirements within an early years setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
- A genuine passion for nurturing both children and teams.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a commitment to inclusive practice.
Desirable
- Previous Nursery Manager or senior leadership experience.
- Experience managing nursery budgets and financial resources.
- A passion for sustainability and creating environmentally responsible settings.
- Experience supporting and developing teams through training and shared learning.
