Job Summary
Awlees Divine Ltd is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office by supporting sales administration, inventory coordination, supplier communications, and customer service functions.
Duties
- Provide professional customer service by responding promptly to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Maintain accurate business records, customer information, supplier documentation, and sales data using Microsoft Office and company management systems.
- Process customer orders, prepare invoices, and update sales and inventory records.
- Assist with monitoring stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely replenishment of mobile accessories and related products.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, maintain calendars, and provide administrative support to management.
- Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and business correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Support purchasing activities by processing purchase orders and maintaining supplier records.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries, verify stock received, and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, document management, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to improve administrative processes and ensure efficient day-to-day business operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or business support role, preferably within a retail, wholesale, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to maintain accurate records relating to sales, inventory, suppliers, and administrative activities.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience using inventory management, accounting, or order processing systems is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to support a fast-paced retail business effectively.
