We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join the assembly team of this growing niche business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical/electronic products with precision and efficiency, ensuring high standards of quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of high-quality items.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electrical/mechanical components using hand tools and power tools according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure products meet company standards.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times.
- Assist in the identification and troubleshooting of assembly issues, escalating problems when necessary.
- Assisting in the warehouse during busy periods when required
Requirements
- Proven electrical knowledge with experience in assembly or related roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Prior experience within assembly
- Must have basic electrical and electronic principles
- Ideally have worked on AC/DC systems
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- You must be able to drive as you may be assembling larger products alongside the engineers

Pay: £29,000.00-£33,800.00 per year
