Senior Supply & Procurement Manager | Ipswich
Some roles might appeal because the company is growing and it's a new role being created. Other roles could appeal because they have a benefits package which eclipses 99% of other business. Some other roles appeal because the business visibly show and can evidence a truly "employee centric" culture.
However, some roles appeal more than most because they contain everything I've just described!
Our client is a wildly successful family-run business with a heritage lasting over 100 years. Starting from a single site in Europe, they have grown into an international success story with operations in 18 countries. They have a track record of high performance: UK headcount has grown 50% in the last few years and well above average employee tenure when compared to other businesses in their sector.
Well, now that out of breath describing the business, let's start with the role.
The client are growing. Fast. From circa £40mil to a targeted £150m in the near future. They need someone to come in and "level up" their systems & processes to reflect the change in operating size. The main low hanging fruit areas are in procurement strategy & demand planning. Logistics experience not needed as it is handled elsewhere in the structure.
And honestly, I wasn't kidding about the benefits package. I have a multiple-page PDF document to prove it!
