Exvac Equipment Sales Ltd is looking for skilled and motivated mobile technicians to join our team. This role is based in our vehicle workshop in Sutton-in-Ashfield however callouts can require the individual to travel nationwide which could mean long hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work while ensuring plant/vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational. Working as part of a dedicated fleet team, you will play a key role in maintaining a range of specialist plant/vehicles, helping to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the business with call outs, service calls and defects.
- Conduct servicing & repairs aiming for maximum reliability and a high standard of plant maintenance that always meets or exceeds our service level.
- Inspect machines/vehicles at every opportunity and report observed damage, wear, and defects appropriately
- Diagnose, service, and repair any broken or faulty machinery
- Provide consultation on correct operation and daily maintenance measures to the machine operators
- Keep logs of work, in addition to completing job sheets and weekly labour allocation reports
- Ensure job sheet contains a comprehensive description of parts and oils used, as well as a detailed account of labour hours including travel & waiting time, in addition to repair time & disposing of waste
- Work safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Ensure workshop equipment is maintained and kept clean.
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience from either a HGV, Plant or Agricultural background
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on specialist plant. (Desired)
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- HGV Licence (Class 2) advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £38,500.00-£53,500.00 per year
