Approved Electrician
The Person
You will be an approved, time served electrician, ideally coming from an installation background with your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations to BS7671. You should be flexible, highly motivated and driven with the ability to prioritise your workload. You should be a pro-active team player with experience working in a demanding environment.
The Job
The role is to undertake new installation works covering a wide range of equipment, services and systems. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To carry out electrical installations to a high standard
- To carry out all activities in accordance to Optimum BMS Ltd policies and procedures.
- Ensure H&S policies are complied with at all times.
- Respond promptly to any unplanned issues or repairs to ensure minimum down time.
- Maintain accurate and clear written records, maintaining documentation to a high standard.
- Maintain operational stock levels of components/materials required.
Must have:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations to BS7671
- You should also have a valid SJIB grade card
- A valid, clean UK driving licence is essential for this position
- Located within Scotland's Central Belt
