We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Marquee Team Leader to spearhead the management and coordination of marquee hires, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
As a vital member of our event operations team, you will lead crews, oversee setup and breakdown procedures, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale events, motivate teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of event staff to deliver outstanding service during marquee events.
- Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including installation of structures, signage, lighting, and technical equipment.
- Oversee safety protocols, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Manage on-site logistics such as crowd control, vendor coordination, and equipment management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of event activities, incident reports, and equipment inventory to ensure accountability and readiness for future events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with marquee hire.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to large-scale public events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
