Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff in supervising children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote learning and development
- Engage actively with children through play, storytelling, and creative exercises to foster their social and emotional skills
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support management tasks such as record-keeping, attendance tracking, and preparing learning materials
- Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative in group activities and encouraging positive behavior among children
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and child development principles
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when needed
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or off-site activities
- Management skills to support classroom organization and activity planning are advantageous
- Willingness to undertake training related to childcare regulations, health & safety protocols, and nursery operations
