Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging video content tailored for various social media platforms, enhancing our brand presence and audience engagement. Duties
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, captivating videos suitable for social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, colour grading, and special effects using Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro to enhance visual appeal.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand content objectives and ensure videos align with brand guidelines and campaign strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to deadlines.
- Source or create suitable imagery and graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe InDesign as needed for video content.
- Stay updated on current social media trends and incorporate innovative editing techniques to optimise engagement.
- Maintain organised files of all video assets and project files for easy access and future use.
Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic creation and editing.
- Experience with photography to capture high-quality visuals when required.
- Excellent understanding of social media platform specifications and best practices for video content optimisation.
- Creative flair with an eye for detail in colour grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
