The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care while promoting the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with NMC standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Monitor service users' health and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
Essential Requirements
- Current NMC registration (Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care.
Professional Registrations & Clinical Competencies -
· Registrations & Qualifications: [e.g., NMC Registered Nurse], Independent Prescribing (V300), Tissue Viability Certification.
· Complex Respiratory & Enteral Care: Tracheostomy Care, Mechanical Ventilation Care, Suctioning, PEG Feeding & Tube Management.
· Vascular Access, Continence & Clinical Procedures: Venepuncture, Cannulation, Catheter Management (Urethral/Suprapubic), Wound Care & Tissue Viability.
· Chronic & Neurological Care Management: Diabetes Management, Heart Failure Management, Parkinson's Disease Care, Huntington's Disease Care.
· Palliative & End-of-Life Care: Palliative Care Management, McKinley/Syringe Driver Administration & Management.
Desirable
- Previous experience in community, domiciliary care, nursing home, or residential care settings.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if community-based).
- Experience with electronic care records.
