Job Title: Long-Distance Van Driver & Fitter (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Trafford Park
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: £13.50–£14.00 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Long-Distance Van Driver & Fitter to join our team based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining driving, customer service, and hands-on workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting small plant and tools to and from customer sites
- Carrying out long-distance van driving across the North of the UK as required
- Loading and unloading equipment safely and securely
- Performing basic mechanical checks, cleaning, and preparing equipment for hire
- Assisting with basic repairs and maintenance where required
- Working in the workshop to ensure equipment is ready for customers
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining excellent customer service at all times
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with minimum age requirement as determined by insurance policy (essential)
- Experience driving vans for commercial deliveries
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with plant, tools, or similar equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
