Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paramedic or Experienced Medical Technician to join our emergency medical services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced patient care prior to emergency services arrival or a pathway has been designated, depending on the type of injury or condition involved. This role requires a professional with clinical experience, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Full induction process and site walks with full instructions and areas of importance, on the main areas involved. To follow just your scope of trained work at all times whilst on duty.
Duties
- Deliver immediate medical assistance to patients in emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac events, and other critical conditions as-well as minor injuries and medical advice situations
- Perform patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital sign monitoring when required
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols and under HCPC/JCALC guidelines
- Provide advanced airway management and utilise aseptic techniques during procedures when required
- Manage patient care until the arrival of the emergency service
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatments administered on minor/major injury report forms
- Assist with on site medical campaigns when required ie: mental health sessions
- drug and alcohol testing procedure's
- FTW assessments when required by HSE manager
- After shift reports to senior management daily
Skills
- Proven experience as a Paramedic or Medical Technician with a background of 2 years post grading experience
- BLS/ALS strong abilities in the area of matter
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to emergency care
- Skilled in medication administration, injection techniques, and performing physiological assessments when required

Pay: £23.00-£34.00 per hour
