Overview
Rising Stars Sports Academy is looking for an experienced and hardworking Groundsman/Caretaker to help maintain our football pitches and pavilion facilities across our two Birmingham venues. 25 hours per week (including weekends).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain natural grass football pitches
- Mark out football pitches to the required standards
- Cut and maintain grass using grounds maintenance equipment
- Litter pick and keep outdoor areas clean and presentable
- Clean and maintain pavilion facilities
- Carry out general handyman and maintenance tasks
- Ensure our venues remain safe, clean and ready for community use
Essential Requirements
✔ Full UK driving licence (mandatory)
✔ Minimum 2 years’ grounds maintenance experience
✔ Level 1 Grounds Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
