We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our growing construction team.
This role involves delivering and collecting materials, plant and equipment to and from construction sites across Central London and surrounding areas. Safe, efficient driving and excellent time management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect construction materials, equipment and plant.
- Drive safely and professionally in Central London and surrounding areas.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
- Assist with loading and unloading where required.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and site teams.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience driving HGVs in Central London.
- Good knowledge of London road network and construction site deliveries.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- CSCS card and HIAB licence are desirable but not essential.
