Job Purpose
The Joiners key role is to manufacture items from drawings and details provided by the drawing office using various constructions methods. Ensuring the goods manufactured are completed to the highest standards while working to tight timescales. You will work as part of a close knit team, which offers great support and collaboration to improve the efficiency and working environment of the business.

Primary Responsibilities
o Interpreting drawings provided by the CAD technician to understand the joinery requirements
o Comprise accurate cutting lists from information provided
o Cutting and machining own work, working with various machinery and hand / battery tools as necessary
o Manufacturing and assembling items from the above drawings
o Dismantle, mark up and wrap items, ready for finishing and site installation
o Working to the highest standards ensuring all items are quality checked before proceeding to goods out
o Opportunity to carry out site installations of manufactured goods
o Assisting with the maintenance and development of the workshop
Experience
o Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Bench or Site Joinery
o Minimum 3 years minimum post qualification experience in bench joinery
o Experience working on a multitude of machines including:
o Crosscut saw
o Panel saw
o Band resaw
o Planer
o Chopsaw
o Edge bander
o Cuber
o Air tools
o CSCS card preferable but not essential
Skills & Abilities
o Flexible and proactive approach to work and new challenges
o Ability to work as part of a team an on own initiative
o Experienced in problem solving
o Ability to understand detailed manufacturing drawings
o A keen eye for detail and working to the highest standards
Personal Attributes & Requirements
o Full UK Driving License

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
