Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to uphold sanitation standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested
Experience
- Prior experience in holiday lets & commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
Pay: £17.00 per hour
