This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK’s leading housing providers, supporting Abri’s Chief Operations Officer (COO), Mary Gibbons. Mary is responsible for the Group’s services strategy, ensuring Abri delivers the very best homes and services we can today while pursuing ideals that make tomorrow better.
Join Abri on an initial six-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent member of our team. This exciting opportunity is primarily based in our London office, with occasional travel to Eastleigh, Bracknell and Yeovil. As part of our hybrid approach to working, you'll spend at least three days per week in the office, collaborating with colleagues and supporting senior leaders to deliver their best work.
Bring your resilience, attention to detail and ability to stay one step ahead, and help make a real difference across our organisation. You'll act as a trusted extension of the COO's office, helping to prioritise competing demands, coordinate key activities, and ensure strategic priorities are progressed effectively. We are looking for someone who has the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels, and can work both autonomously and as part of the wider Executive Assistant team.
You will be highly literate and numerate with strong emotional intelligence, naturally inquisitive and proactive in your approach. We're looking for someone who is curious about innovation and comfortable using AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline processes and identify smarter ways of working.
You will need commercial awareness and be able to quickly build up an understanding of our business requirements. The role includes tasks such as diary management, inbox monitoring on the COO’s behalf, alongside assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations and data/information gathering. You’ll also play a key role in supporting senior meetings and governance processes, tracking actions and priorities, and handling confidential information with discretion.
At Abri, we're proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work and are committed to creating an environment where our people can thrive and deliver outstanding results.
If you're an exceptional organiser who enjoys working at executive level, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
