We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service.
This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and a passion for excellent service are essential.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist in food preparation or setup when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout the service period
- Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest services
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment, ideally with culinary or kitchen exposure
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximise sales opportunities
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
