Summary
To maintain accurate and compliant product specification and master data, ensuring information is entered correctly and on time across business systems and online portals to meet government, legal, and business requirements.
The Role
The Specifications Administrator will support the Specifications team by accurately collating, reviewing, and entering product information across relevant systems and databases.
Working closely with internal departments and customers, you will help ensure product information is accurate, up to date, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements. This is a detail focused role where accuracy, organisation, and effective communication are key.
Based in Grimsby, you will also provide administrative support to the wider Specifications team and assist the Export Coordinator with data collection and submissions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enter accurate master data across specifications databases, online portals, SAP, and QAD

Review product information against supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Complete data entry within agreed deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy

Act as a key contact for internal queries relating to specifications and master data

Communicate with internal teams to resolve data queries and ensure information is up to date

Maintain accurate filing and administration within the Specifications department

Support the Export Coordinator with data collection and submissions

Identify opportunities to improve processes and maintain consistent documentation standards
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy

Good keyboard and data entry skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Persistent and proactive approach to resolving issues

Experience with MRP or similar business systems would be advantageous

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science at Grade 4 or above desirable

Previous experience working across multiple projects or functions would be beneficial
