Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Builders Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. Responsibilities
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas
- Handling and transporting materials using hand tools and power tools
- Assisting with basic tasks such as mixing mortar, lifting heavy materials, and scaffolding setup
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Following health and safety regulations at all times during site activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or related trades essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction
- Familiarity with trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, or electrical work is desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong teamwork ethic and communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence and own transport essentia
- Valid CSCS card and own public liability insurance
