We have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join our growing Architecture team in Sale/Manchester
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with proven experience in the production, coordination, and delivery of construction information across a diverse range of project sectors and procurement routes. Experience working on both new-build and existing High-Risk Building (HRB) projects is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate an excellent understanding of construction technology, UK Building Regulations, and the technical delivery of architectural projects. They will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Following Baily Garner's recent acquisition of Arcus, the business now operates from two Manchester offices: one in Manchester City Centre and one in Sale. The Architecture team is currently based in Sale; however, plans are in place to bring the teams together, with the expectation that the Architecture team will ultimately be based in Manchester City Centre. This presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and evolving team during a period of positive change.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, technical standards, and industry best practice.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and experience working within BIM environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to overcoming technical challenges.
- Proven experience in producing coordinated technical drawing packages and managing project information throughout all project stages.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, technically robust architectural solutions.
- Minimum qualification: ACIAT.
