Podgy Paws Pet Shop is a bustling, vibrant hub for pet lovers, and we are looking for a fantastic Shop Assistant to join our hard-working family. We pride ourselves on offering top-tier customer service, which means our days are fast-paced, exciting, and filled with plenty of tail wags.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- The Ultimate Dog Stylist: Giving expert, hands-on help to customers by fitting dogs for harnesses, coats, collars, and many more specialist dog products.
- Customer Champion: Welcoming every customer with a friendly attitude and helping them find exactly what they need.
- Keeping the Energy Up: Managing stock, merchandising displays, and keeping the shop floor looking immaculate and inviting.
- Expert Advice: Learning about our wide range of premium pet foods, treats, and accessories to give confident recommendations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Dog Mad: You genuinely love dogs and understand how important they are to their owners.
- Customer Focused & Friendly: You are a natural chatterbox who loves delivering a fantastic shopping experience.
- Hands-On & Willing to Learn: You aren't afraid to get down on the floor to fit a wiggly puppy into a new harness.
- High Energy: We are a very busy shop, so you need plenty of stamina to stay active and enthusiastic on your feet all day.
- Reliable Team Player: Trustworthy, punctual, and always ready to muck in with the team.
