Job Overview
We are looking to replace one of our coaches that is moving to university in September .
looking for somebody that can work Sundays and Monday evenings( however additional evenings are potentially available also)
We are looking for the coach to take over some of our recreational classes.
Ideally, we are taking somebody on with a level one Gymnastics coaching qualification or above.
However, we are open to applicants that are previously experienced gymnasts .
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures to minimise risk during activities
- Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and activities
- Organise warm-up, cool-down, and stretching routines as part of each session
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
- Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and coaching methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants
- Ability to organise sessions effectively while maintaining a fun and inclusive atmosphere
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is advantageous
- Passion for sports education with a commitment to fostering participant development in a safe environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
