Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to standard recipes and specifications
- Cook pizzas to perfection using traditional or specialised cooking methods
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and timely food delivery
- Assist in developing new pizza recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience
- Serve food to customers when required, ensuring presentation standards are met
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, particularly within a pizzeria or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to pizza making and meal preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or catering service is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with serving customers is advantageous but not essential
