We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office environment. Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks to support office functions
- Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
- Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation
- Data entry and updating information using Microsoft Office, and various other platforms
- Order stock for stores and support project-related purchasing
- Handling correspondence via email and other communication channels
- Supporting team members with administrative duties as required
- Ensuring the office remains tidy, organised, and well-stocked with supplies
Requirements
- Proven office experience or administrative background - Previous experience in the electrical or construction industry would be advantageous
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Clerical experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
